Solo non solo: Anyeonghaseyo (Trip to South Korea solo with tour group) 18-24 December 2014 Solo non solo: Anyeonghaseyo Highlights https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10154870821785214&type=3 I brought my Surface RT along, hoping to upload pics every night onto facebook, but realised on the first night that I didn't charge properly and only have 18% of battery life (albeit a perfect excuse not to do any school or mosque work in Korea!) As such, while most of the pics are still captured by my awesome Canon camera (which produces good quality pics due to the super vivid, toy effect and snow functions that it holds and because the camera battery definitely lasts longer, and is faster to fully charge every night too).... I decided to take snippets of highlights by my phone so I can update my family on Whatsapp... Since it's already on the phone, why not share it on facebook too! So why solo non solo? Because while I travelled alone (first time ever! maybe not the last?), I followed a Muslim tour group by Chan World Holidays where I met wonderful people who regarded me as part of their family and included me in their activities and photos and never failed to make me feel non-lonely. ;) Anyeonghaseyo! What began as a 2-person trip turned into another solo trip as my friend backed out after all the research is done. Reason unknown. Just... stopped replying my messages altogether. So when Singles Day came, I knew that's probably the last day to get a decent price (by then like all prices have shot up up and away!) so I made a decision solo pon solo lah, ada hikmahnya insyaAllah.
